How Taken
Zyban is available as a tablet that is taken orally. The medicine is commonly taken two times a day with or without food. The tablets should be swallowed whole; do not chew, crush or divide them.

You should not take Zyban if you have used monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) within the last 14 days. Missed Dose

Possible Side Effects
Some patients have experienced hypertension when they used Zyban alone or in combination with nicotine replacement therapy. The most frequent side effects are dry mouth and difficulty sleeping but these reactions are usually mild and disappear within a few weeks. Do not take the medicine before you go to bed in case you experience difficulty sleeping. Clinical studies have shown the following frequent adverse effects: shakiness and skin rash. Discontinue the usage of Zyban and search for medical help if you experience an allergic reaction indicated by a rash, hives, or difficulty in breathing. Storage
Zyban should be stored at a room temperature, away of direct sunlight. Zyban should be kept in a tightly-closed container and away from children.
Overdose
Immediately search for medical help if you suspect an overdose. An overdose of Zyban may be indicated by seizures, hallucinations, loss of consciousness, weakness, a fast heartbeat, and heart attack.

You should avoid alcohol or consume it in moderation during a treatment with Zyban because alcohol may enhance the risk of a seizure.
