Missed Dose

Possible Side Effects
Side effects of Elavil are not expected but in case you experience any, contact your doctor immediately. The doctor will decide if it is safe to continue the intake of Elavil. Storage

Overdose
An overdose may cause cardiac dysrhythmias, severe hypotension, convulsions, and CNS depression, including coma. Tricyclic antidepressant toxity is clinically indicated by changes in the electrocardiogram. Additional side effects are impaired myocardial contractility, confusion, disturbed concentration, transient visual hallucinations, and dilated pupils, disorders of ocular motility, agitation, hyperactive reflexes, stupor, drowsiness, muscle rigidity, vomiting, hypothermia, and hyperpyrexia.
